Central production process in Restaurant POS
The production process is the predefined planned process for the kit items that need to be prepared in kitchen or central kitchen. In production process the complete details of items ingredient based on the recipe gets automatically calculated.
Business rules
- Create KIT and ingredient items in inventory item master screen.
- Now open “recipe config” screen where map required ingredients and it’s details against each KIT items.
- Once the kit items and ingredients is created and recipe configuration is done by user then user can proceed the production process.
- Production process is applicable only for the active KIT items which is configured with recipe.
Production Plan
Preparing the production plan helps to estimating the number of items which need to be prepared in central kitchen.
Business rules
- There should be the production plan screen in central kitchen or warehouse server, which is used for user to create a production plan under production module.
- In that production plan screen, in production plan date field, choose plan date using the calendar.
- Then in item code field, press enter and select the specific kit item.
- In item name field, selected item name will be dispalyed.
- In qty field, enter the production plan qty, i.e estimating the number of kit qty which user planning to prepare at central kitchen.
- In UOM field select the respective UOM of planned kit item.
- Except KIT items any other type of items are not allowed to display here to make plan.
- Created plan will be open till the production entry is done for whole qty. Ex- if plan qty is 50, then till the 50 qty entered in production entry the plan will be open.
- Production plan will be created using the indent request from outlets and also using the manual reorder request from the outlet.
- There is a function key called “Load indent” to load the indent qty from the HO indent wise replenishment to create a production plan for the outlet requested item with requested qty.
- If there is franchise outlet in user multiple store management, then the franchise outlet will create the Purchase order to central kitchen.
- The purchase order from the franchise outlet will be saved as sales order in central kitchen.
- So there should be a function key called “Load SO”, using this function key user can load the requested item and it’s qty to create a production plan.
