Create Steward and Waiter in Restaurant POS

Steward is the person who arrange the guest to seat in their table and take orders from the customer using the mobile app or at POS. Waiter is the person who delivering or serving the ordered item to customer in their table. Steward and waiter should be created in the Restaurant POS for effective POS sales management.

Business rules

• There should be the security management or user management screen in HO and POS application.
• For centralised user management admin will create the waiter and stewards in HO and sync them to outlet applications.
• For local user management outlet admin will create their outlet wise waiter and steward in local POS application.
• In security or user management screen, select edit option in default user role steward ans waiter respectively to create steward and waiter.
• In that screen, enter the respective steward or waiter details like username, password, display name, status and other required details in the security manager screen.
• Once every details is entered in screen, click update function key to save the existing steward and waiter to POS.
• Created steward only can log in steward order taking app.
• Created steward and waiter can be edited using the option called “edit”.
• Created users cannot be deleted rather they can be inactivated if needed.
