Price Change in Retail POS
Price change is the screen which is used to update the new selling price, MRP and purchase price of existing item’s stock.
Business rules
- Price update will be done by batch wise.
- The following prices need to be updated here in this screen,
- Purchase price
- Selling price
- MRP
- Also this screen should validate the following condition,
- Purchase price ≤ Selling price ≤ MRP.
- The newly updated prices should auto load in all POS screen, all stock inwards screen and all stock update screen.
- There is a menu called price change screen, user should open that price change screen.
- Then user should select the product one by one to change the price.
- Products has been loaded by searching manually from the item list by item code and item name or also items will be loaded by scanning the barcode and eancode.
- Once items selected, then user should select batch from the existing batch of the product in batch list. If item don’t have batch, it will loaded automatically after item selection.
- Once the batch is selected then system will load all the loaded item’s old price details in screen automatically.
- Now user should enter new purchase price, selling price & MRP in change price screen.
- After entering all the details save the updated price details by pressing the function key called “save”.
- The updated price of the products will be reflects in every POS transaction screen, old prices will not be shown in any POS transaction screen.
- While updating the new prices to items, user should select the outlets for price change reflection.
- Only in the selected outlets the updated prices will reflect, in other outlets prices will not get changed.
- User can change the prices of items in outlet wise at their respective outlets.
- Also user can schedule date and time for the price change to affect the selected outlet, To schedule, click schedule function key and enter date and time and press save.
