Item vs eancode mapping in Retail POS

This menu is used to mapping eancode and items. eancode is a scanning code which is presented on the product. Most of the times, this code won’t change until the price of the product is changed. Sometimes the product’s company will update the different eancode also on the products.

Business rules

• Single item will have multiple eancode but Multiple items will not have same eancode.
• There is menu named item vs eancode under inventory master, user should go to that screen to update eancode to items.
• In Item vs eancode screen, select the item to create or update the eancode.
• Once item created, the already mapped eancode will show in list of rows.
• In new row, enter new eancode and click function key called update to save the eancode against the existing product.
• If scanned eancode is already mapped with any other product, system will not update the eancode for existing product until the eancode is removed from the already mapped product.
