Branch master in Retail POS

Branch master is the master where the all the branch of the specific business is created and maintained. This screen is used when the business have multiple no of outlets and they wanted to maintain in centralised.

• It has three type
  • Warehouse or disribution center
  • Branch outlet (Own outlet)
  • Franchises outlet

Business rules

• There is branch master or outlet master under branch module, user should go to that branch master to create a new branch.
• The outlets which is created in HQ also will be listed here as branch with branch type.
• User will create warehouse as Distribution centre (Place where the purchase is happening highly and stock is stored and send later to outlet based on the outlets requirements)
• User will create outlets as branch or franchises.
• Branch warehouse and outlet will have same GST number.
• Since the outlet and warehouse have same GST, the stock movement will be done between warehouse and outlet as stock transfer out and stock transfer in.
• Branch franchises will have different GST number from warehouse.
• Since the warehouse and franchises have different GST, Stock movement from franchises and warehouse will be sales and purchase. The stock request from the franchise is PO. The PO from Franchises is SO in Warehouse and warehouse will send the requested stock to Franchises as Sales bill by using the SO and Franchises will receive the stock from warehouse as purchase invoice against the sales bill.
• So in warehouse and franchise business, the system will allow to load PO as SO and Sales bill as GRN entry in franchise from warehouse.

• The outlet or branch are also created at HQ by user.
• While creating the outlet or branch in HQ, After entering the branch name, branch type, branch address, Also user will have to select the following details for centralised management of data, User can allow or not allow the following data for centralised management
  • Customer
  • Supplier
  • Manufacturer
  • Configuration
