Backup & Display settings in Retail POS

Backup & Display settings screen is the menu screen where we update the backup path for data backup and customised display screen.

Business rules

• Backup path should be updated before starting master creation.
• User should map the backup path when POS application is installed at customer end. Also mapped path will be changed at any time using this feature screen.
• System should not allow to map the path in C drive and should allow to map the path in local drive.
• There should be the backup & display settings under tools.
• In that screen, under backup menu, user will create or edit the back up path by browsing the path.
• Also user can update the customised display image over the default display image.
• For to map display image, under display menu, there should be the browsing menu and where user will browse to the display image and upload.
• Every time system get logged out weather it is a server or clients POS, system will take the bckup from the mapped path.
