Import master in Retail POS

Import master is the feature which is used to bulk import master details in to the application from standard excel templates.

Business rules

Import master should allow to export data from third party POS application.
Every time we import any master data, before import got proceed, system should take backup of current data.
Every time we import data, system should validate every data and should update the errors if any in master data.
User should open the default all master template(single sheet which will have all the POS import master template) from application path.
Then user will enter the required data in specific sheet in template and after entering the data sheet will get saved in the application path where template is opened.
Then user will open import master tool and select the template sheet name and select which master details user wants to import.
Once the master selected, then user will select the conditions
Few conditions for item masters like only master, Price without stock, with stock, only stock. Also few conditions for customers and suppliers or (with outstanding, without outstanding and allow duplicate, validate GST details etc.
After the required conditions selected, System will take backup of current data.
Then after backup, user will proceed the data to import it in to the application.
If there is no error in updated data, system will import all the data in application.
If there is any error, then system will show the errors in note pad and then user need to find the error data and fix it in excel template and then proceed the import master data again.
