Ledger master in Retail POS Accounts

Ledger is a account which is used for accounts transactions. Ledger master will have default ledgers like all the customers and suppliers and other tax split up ledgers for sales and purchases. This is like a accounting master for all accounting transaction. The every account user want to maintain in accounts should be created in ledger master as ledger.

Business rules

• Every customers, suppliers and manufacturer which is created in POS is should be uploaded to ledger master as default ledger and it should not allowed to edit default ledger.
• Other then the POS masters as ledger in ledger master, User can create the N no of expenses in ledger master.
• Details like ledger code, ledger name and ledger group is enough to create one ledger, other details should be optional based on the creating ledger.
• User can create customers and suppliers in ledger master for account transaction alone, this customers and suppliers will not display in POS masters.
• The ledger which is created by user in ledger master is allowed to modify.
• The ledgers which is saved with GST numbers in masters are will show tax split up screen to enter GST amount details in transaction and the transaction where the GST details updated, system will upload that details in GST reports.
• This master is used to create multiple ledgers (expenses and others) for accounting use.
• User can view or edit the created ledger details using the function key called “view and edit”.
