Category Manager in Retail POS

Category manager master is used to create the types and number of category needed to maintain categories. User can create the category names and No of category lines in this screen. Ex:- Department, Category, Subcategory, Brand, Size, Colour,etc.

Business rules

• There is menu named “category manager” under inventory, user should go that screen to enable the category line and update the category names.
• In category manager screen enter the category type names and enable the status as active and then if user need category hierarchy give yes and if not give no to hierarchy confirmation.
• System will allow user to create maximum of 10 categories.
• Created category manager names will be edited directly on clicking on the name in list.
• The number of category manager created in this screen should list in item master and category master to create and update the categories.
• For matrix products in Lifestyle business, The available categories should be listed in stock inwards entries to update the new values and in stock outward entries the available categories for the selected products should displayed in screen.
