Category master in QSR POS
Category master is the master screen where the different items categories are created and managed.
Business rules
- There is category master screen under master module and go to that screen and press in “add category” to create a new category.
- Also, in item master, in category field press + to create and new category.
- Once the add category screen is opened, then enter the category name in category name field.
- Then select the status as active and click “save” option to save the category.
- Only active categories should be listed in item master screen to select in the items.
- User can use the view and edit function key to view and edit the created categories.
- Created categories should not be deleted, user can inactivate the categories using the status fields.
