Category master in Retail POS

Category master is the master screen which is used to create the different categories under the specific category type.

• Category type name – Ex:- Size
• Category name – Ex:- small, medium, large

Business rules

• There is a menu called category master, user should go to that screen to create the category names.
• In category master screen, enter the category name and select the category type from the category manager list.
• User should select the status as active and for applies online, based on the user requirements user can select yes or no. yes means the selected category will be displayed in online stores, If no means it will not displayed online stores.
• After entering all the required details, user should press the function key called “save” to save the category name in list.
• Created categories will be viewed and edited by user using the function keys called “view” and “edit”.
• Created categories will list out to select during the item creation on each category type.
