Product Update menu in retail POS
Product Update menu is used to update the application in to the latest version.
Business rules
- If any changes or any update or any new feature is added in the application, that will be updated through this screen.
- The latest changes will be downloaded and updated here in this screen.
- Until customer update the product, the latest releases should not be updated to the application.
- There should be the menu called product update for user to update application.
- In product update screen, user will download the new release detail file and then run that file to update the application.
- The product update should be done on non billing hours or when sales is closed to prevent customer loss if anything happened due to new update.
- The system should take backup of the current stock before product update.
