Recipe configuration for Retail POS

Recipe configuration screen is used to map the ingredients or raw material to the created assembly and KIT items. Assembly items are the sale items and the ingredients or raw material are not sale items.

Business rules

• There is a menu called recipe configuration screen under inventory master module, user should open that recipe configuration screen to map the ingredients for created assembly item.
• In Recipe configuration screen user should select created assembly item by searching the item code or item name.
• Then user should enter the config qty (Ex:-1) of assembly item.
• Now user should enter the assembly item’s sale rate & MRP. This is the price which is load for items in POS sales screen.
• Then user should select the ingredients items in item line and enter the qty & uom based on entered config qty for each line items.
• Once user entered all the details, user can save recipe configuration by using the function key “save”.
• In assembly item list, only those items which is saved as assembly in preparation status should be listed to select.
• This configured details can be edited and viewed any time by using the function key view and edit.
• User can’t maintain stock for assembly items, only the ingredients stocks will get tracked.
• Every time the Assembly items sold, the stock of ingredients will reduce.
• This feature is mostly used in restaurant type vertical also it can be useful in retail vertical.
