Retail POS reorder

Re-Order is nothing but the Purchase order which is raised using the predefined formulas. Reorder management will reduce the time and effort of the user to create the purchase order. Reorder feature will suggest the purchase order qty automatically based on the reorder type formula selected.

Business Rules

• Minimum and maximum stock of each product need to be updated to item master by user.
• Every items must be mapped with suppliers for creating the reorder.
• There is transaction screen under inventory named reorder, go to that screen.
• Select the supplier, and select any one of the following reorder type formula from below,
• Majorly used Re-order type formulas are
  • Based on minimum & maximum stock – Suggestion qty = Maximum stock – current stock.
  • Last PO qty – The last PO qty will be suggestion qty.
  • Last purchase qty – The last GRN qty will be suggestion qty.
  • N-day sales – Enter the N days to load the Suggestion qty.
  • Sales from last purchase – Suggestion qty will based on last purchase qty and its sales.
  • Sales qty from the period – Select from and To date, the sold qty between the selected date will be the Suggestion qty
  • Last reorder qty – Last reorder qty will be the suggestion qty
• The suggestion qty based on the reorder formula will load automatically in order qty to make order process easy.
• User can make order qty 0 by clicking on the function key named make qty as 0 for entering the manual qty for each products.
• Only the order qty which is more than 0 will be reflect in purchase order, not all the items which is loaded in the screen.
• Expiry date of purchase order can be updated by user in this screen.
• System will display last purchase qty, current stock, sale qty from last purchase of each products in column for loaded items for better reorder management.
