Supplier vs items mapping in retail POS

This screen is used to map the items with it’s respective supplier. It makes future purchases easy. This mapping will be very much used in reorder management. Because in reorder screen, when the supplier is selected and then with out this feature, system will not able load the items which is particularly supplied by the selected supplier. So this mapping will help to load the supplier and their supply items for easy reorder management.

Business rules

• From purchase entry also items should be mapped to supplier automatically (tag-others)
• supplier who mapped during the item creation will be auto loaded here tag as main supplier
• Single item can be mapped under multiple suppliers.
• This mapping should reflect in reorder and Central purchase process.
• While mapping the supplier vs items, user should select the outlet as All outlet for central purchase items. For DSD products, user should map supplier vs items by outlet wise.

Supplier vs items mapping in retail POS steps in words

• Go to Supplier vs Item mapping screen in retail pos.
• Select Supplier from supplier list (by code or name from LOV)
• Select Items from item list (Multi select also allowed)
• Need drop down list option to select the tag (Main supplier or others)
• After mapping the items under supplier with respective tag, save the process
